Verse of the Day: Matthew 28:19
”Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”
As discussed yesterday, being a witness for Christ often requires sacrificing our time and comfort for the sake of His testimony. This includes being willing to move beyond our present location as led by the Holy Spirit.
In the book of Acts, we see the early church empowered by the Holy Spirit to spread the Gospel not only in Jerusalem but also in Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. This mandate is not exclusive to the apostles—it includes each one of us. We are all part of the body of Christ, commissioned to carry His message to the ends of the earth.
We must not become too attached to our current comfortable state. God calls us to step out in obedience, following His command to go and make disciples of all nations. Our willingness to heed this call is essential for the prosperity of the Church and the fulfilment of God's purposes on earth.
Today, let us rise and heed the voice of our Lord saying, "Go." May we step out in faith, knowing that He is with us always, empowering us to be faithful witnesses to the ends of the earth.
