Verse of the Day: Psalm 73:24 NKJV
“You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory.”
The Psalmist, aware of his own shortcomings and foolishness, realized his need for divine guidance. He understood that left to his own devices, he would be led astray, so he chose to rely on God’s wisdom instead. Recognizing our own limitations is the first step towards true wisdom when it leads us to trust in the Lord’s perfect understanding. Like a blind man trusting in a friend to lead him home safely, we too must place our complete trust in God, confident that He sees what we cannot.
What a comfort it is to know that after guiding us through life, God will receive us into His glory. Despite our flaws and failures, He promises to bring us safely into His presence. Let this truth strengthen you today. When confusion or uncertainty surrounds you, remember that God’s guidance is sure, and His final destination for you is glory.
