Verse of the Day: Hebrews 4:16 NKJV
“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
Prayer is not just a way to receive answers from God—it reveals the true condition of our hearts. When we come before God in prayer, we recognise how needy and dependent we are on Him. Without prayer, we might overlook our own poverty of spirit and our desperate need for God's grace. In prayer, we confess our emptiness and appeal to God's infinite riches, drawing strength from His abundance. Prayer brings us to a place where we admit our own insufficiency and rely fully on God's sufficiency. It is a place where we trade our frailty for His might, our lack for His provision.
Prayer is also a spiritual discipline that strengthens us for the journey of life. Just as a runner builds endurance through daily training, we grow spiritually strong through consistent prayer. It prepares us for life's battles, empowering us to face challenges with faith and courage. We may not always see immediate results, but prayer is powerful beyond measure. It shapes us, molds our character, and brings us closer to God. It reminds us daily of our place before Him—humbled yet empowered, poor in self but rich in Christ.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, teach us the beauty of humility as we come before You in prayer. Remind us that we are empty without You, yet through Your grace, we are filled with strength and wisdom. Help us depend on You for every need, acknowledging our weakness and embracing Your divine power.
