Verse of the Day: Matthew 6:33 NKJV
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
The kingdom of God is the expression of His image and the exercise of His authority. To seek the Kingdom means to seek Christ as He is central to the kingdom. He is the embodiment of the kingdom. The kingdom of God encompasses both image and dominion. When we wholeheartedly embrace Christ, we enter into the fullness of God's kingdom. In Him, we find not only the expression of God's character but also the authority to exercise His will in our lives.
Seeking Christ first is the key to experiencing the reality of God's kingdom. As we prioritise our relationship with Him, God graciously meets all our needs. Seeking Christ is about embracing the abundant life found in Christ. When Christ becomes our focus, everything else pales in comparison.
Let us, therefore, fix our gaze upon Christ. In Him, we discover the true essence of God's kingdom — a realm where His image is reflected, and His authority is established. May our lives be a testimony to the surpassing worth of knowing Christ and experiencing the reality of His kingdom here on earth.
