Verse of the Day: Matthew 6:10 NKJV
“Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven”
In the divine narrative of redemption, God's kingdom unfolds in a twofold manner — both present and future, both earthly and heavenly. Through Jesus Christ, the King of kings, God initiates His saving rule, ushering in a new era of grace and restoration.
First and foremost, God's kingdom manifests in the hearts of His people. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, Christ triumphs over sin, Satan, and death, transforming lives and relationships. As citizens of this heavenly kingdom, we are called to live out our allegiance to God, embodying His love and righteousness in our daily lives.
Yet, the story of God's kingdom does not end here. It reaches its culmination in the future return of Christ, when His reign will be fully realised on earth as it is in heaven. At this glorious moment, God will renew His people and the entire universe, ushering in a new era of peace and perfection.
As we journey through this world, let us remain steadfast in our commitment to God's kingdom. May we live as faithful citizens, bearing witness to the transformative power of His reign. And may we eagerly anticipate the day when Christ will return to establish His kingdom in its fullness.
