Verse of the Day: 1Peter 1:6-7 NKJV
“In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honour, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”
God often allows trials to refine our faith, much like gold is purified by fire. True faith is not dependent on favourable circumstances but trusts in God even when we face sickness, loss, or sorrow. Just as the beauty of a precious jewel is revealed under pressure, so too does the strength of our faith shine in adversity.
Faith that remains steadfast in suffering honours God. It is through tribulation that we grow in patience, experience, and hope. Each trial we endure draws us closer to Him and prepares us for the eternal joy that awaits.
Though the refining process is painful, it reveals the craftsmanship of our Creator. The sorrows of this life will only make the peace and joy of heaven sweeter. Our temporary sufferings are a pathway to eternal glory.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, in the midst of trials, may we trust in Your perfect will. Strengthen our faith, refine our hearts, and let us glorify You through every challenge. Help us to hold fast to Your promises, knowing that You are ever faithful, even in our darkest moments. We rest in Your sovereignty, assured that You are working all things for our good and Your glory.
