Verse of The Day: Ecclesiastes 9:10 NKJV
“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.”
“Whatever thy hand finds to do” reminds us that God calls us to action, not just contemplation. It is easy to dream of great works or wait for perfect conditions, but real service to God happens in the tasks of today. Grand ideas and intentions are no substitute for simple, faithful obedience.
Every day offers opportunities to serve. These might not be dramatic or large-scale, but even the smallest tasks, when done for God, carry eternal value. Whether it’s helping a neighbor, sharing an encouraging word, or completing your daily work with integrity, each act done for Christ matters.
When we serve, we must do so “with our might.” This means serving promptly, wholeheartedly, and with excellence. Giving Christ only partial effort or delayed obedience falls short of the devotion He deserves. Yet, our strength does not come from ourselves. We are weak on our own, but our might is found in the Lord. He empowers us to fulfill the work He sets before us.
Let us take action today, relying on God’s strength. Serve Him in faith and prayer, and trust Him to bless the work done in His name. The tasks we complete in His power and for His glory will have lasting impact.
