Verse of the Day: Isaiah 6:8 NKJV
“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.””
God, in His infinite wisdom and love, extends a profound invitation to humanity: "Who will go for us?" This divine call echoes through the ages, reminding us of the commission given by Jesus to His followers to spread the Gospel to all the world. Before we can respond to this holy invitation, there must be a preparation of our hearts. Isaiah, when he saw the Lord in all His glory, experienced a transformative vision. This revelation led Isaiah to an acute awareness of his own unworthiness, recognising his sinfulness in the light of God’s perfect holiness.
Isaiah's confession reflects the realisation that we fall short before God. Yet, in that moment of humility and repentance, God provided immediate cleansing. His iniquity was taken away, and he was ready to answer God's call: "Here am I, send me."
This same call extends to us today. Have you sensed the deep longing in Christ's heart for the salvation of souls? Do you feel His call to join in His mission? This is not a call to mere service, but an invitation to share in Christ’s own heart for the world.
