Verse of the Day: Ephesians 5:15-16 NKJV
“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”
To navigate life properly, we must understand the era we live in. Can you perceive the times we are in? Darkness and evil pervade these days, often unnoticed. Modern life doesn't always present itself with obvious threats. Instead, we may find ourselves cruising comfortably, oblivious to the dangers around us. The apostle Paul, however, depicts a more accurate picture: we are on a battleship, facing dangerous waves, enemy attacks from above, and internal conflicts.
While we do experience joy, celebration, and the blessings of God, we also encounter sin, sorrow, and deep grief. Satan, a busy adversary, seeks to distract us, leading us to idleness and unproductive lives, aware that his time is limited.
We are in the midst of a spiritual war zone; the days are filled with evil, and souls hang in the balance daily. Now is not the time for complacency or rest. We are not yet home. True rest lies at the end of a challenging and narrow path. Therefore, we must respond to these wicked times with wise, intentional, and purposeful living.
