Verse of The Day: Isaiah 33:17 NKJV
“Your eyes will see the King in His beauty; They will see the land that is very far off.”
The more we grow in understanding who Christ is, the less we are content with shallow glimpses of His glory. Diving into the depths of His eternal covenant, His role as our Surety, and the immeasurable grace found in His works reveals the beauty of the King. Such reflections ignite a longing to know Him more intimately.
Meditation and contemplation become windows through which we see our Redeemer more clearly. In quiet reflection, the majesty of Christ comes alive, surpassing what we could have grasped with physical sight alone. Let our hearts dwell on the beauty of His person and the power of His work, for as we focus on Him, the splendour of the King shines more brightly.
Even in life's final moments, many saints testify of a clearer vision of Christ.
As the temporary veil of this world begins to lift, the glory of the King appears, calming fears with His reassuring presence. Yet the fullest revelation of His beauty awaits either His return or our arrival in heaven. Until that day, let us long for Him, our Bridegroom, our Brother, our King.
May our hearts cry, "Come, Lord Jesus!" Until He comes, let us cherish every glimpse of His beauty, preparing for the day when the shadows flee, and we behold Him in all His glory.
