Hold Fast To Christ

Verse of the Day: Romans 8:35 NKJV

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?”

Christ calls to us daily, reminding us of His unchanging love and perfect faithfulness. Though many have turned away from Him, we find in Jesus an all-sufficient Savior, a Friend who has never failed us. Has there ever been a time when trusting in Him left us disappointed or our souls empty? In every season of life—whether joy or trial, health or illness—He remains our refuge and strength. Why exchange a Friend so trustworthy for anything less? We are sustained by His peace and comfort today, and His promises are as true now as they will be in every future trial. If Christ has never left us, why would we turn from Him?

When hard times come, we find no better place to rest than in Jesus' presence. If life stretches long, He walks with us each day. If we face need or hardship, He remains our unchanging support, guiding us with His grace. Even in death, we know nothing—not hardship, not fear—can ever pull us from His love. As Peter once said, we too ask, “Lord, to whom shall we go?”

Reflection

Take a moment to reflect on the following verses:

Romans 8:35-39; Psalm 46

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your steadfast love that never changes. Help me hold tightly to You, knowing that in You, I find all my heart could need. Let me live faithfully, secure in Your presence each day.
