Verse of the Day: Matthew 4:19 NKJV
“Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”They immediately left their nets and followed Him.”
Just as in times past, Christ continues to walk through the bustling centres of our lives, calling us away from our daily tasks—whether from nets and boats, the countinghouse and market-place, or the quiet of the study. He wants to make you His servant. Perhaps He has already come to you, calling you to serve.
The Bible is filled with examples of men called by God - Samuel, Gideon, Jeremiah, Moses, David, Elisha, the twelve disciples, Saul of Tarsus who later became Paul, and so many more. Like these men, when the call comes, God wants you to yield yourself to Him. Christ's appeal rings out on behalf of the millions of souls for whom He died, some of whom He wants to reach through you. Do not be deterred by your circumstances, instead, keep your eyes fixed on Him and your ears open to His voice. Once you are certain of His leading, move forward in His Name.

Prayer
Father, we hear Your call in the midst of our busy lives, just as Your disciples did long ago. Help us to respond with faith and courage, even when we feel inadequate or startled by the task before us.
